Why is this blog in English?

The content might be interesting to international and foreign students coming to Germany, too. That is why I did not want to exclude anybody due to choice of language.

Why should I register?

Once you have a profile, you can start to engage with others and discuss the articles in the comments. You also can track your progress of exploring this blog. You subscribe to the email list and will get first-hand information.

How does the tracking of my progess works?

Every blog post has a unique value for each category. Once you mark a text as "done", its value will be added to your profile.

What is my reading list?

On the top of every text you find a small bookmark. Pressing this button will add the article to your reading list.

What means the "mark as done"- button?

Once you have created an account, under every blog post you find the "mark as done"-button. Clicking it after you read an article will add the article to your profile progress.

Why don’t I have a "mark as done"- function

A precondition to track your progress is that you create an account.

How can I cancel my subscription?

If you want to be removed from the email list, please, write to me via the contact page. If you no longer want to have a profile here. There is an option in the account settings to delete your profile.

Anonymity enables ruthlessness. I want the comment section to be a polite, supportive and safe place for you to share your thoughts.

Is there anything I need to take into consideration when I comment?

Please, be polite and fair. Treat others like you want to be treated yourself.
